Primary & Secondary Research

Primary & Secondary Research
These screenshots show some of the e-mail conversation between us and Lunar C’s (Rapper) Management.

As a group we contacted friends and local bands to see if we can interview and film them for our documentary, we located four artists in the area and also a successful artist. I arranged filming for a friend of mine called Matt Gilbertson who was keen to do the interview and filming so he could get some footage of himself playing so he can use however he wants. Lunar C the successful artist allowed us to film, after filming we would give all the footage to his management so they can use.
Interview subjects
  • Matt Gilbertson - Singer Songwriter
  • Loor A Los Heroes - BritRock Band
  • Electric Mafia - Rock/Punk Band
  • Lunar C - Unsigned successful rapper

Locations for filming our interview subjects
  • Matt Gilbertson - Filming at his self set up home studio.(Studio equipment can be used as props for the mise-en-scene)
  • Loor A Los Heroes - Filming in a band members garage (shows the struggle of being a unsigned artist, not having a suitable place to practice, but shows the heart of just playing wherever the band can.) (Amps, instruments will be in shot for the mise-en-scene)
  • Electric Mafia - Filmed the interview in a bar?
  • Lunar C - Filming the interview backstage at one of Lunar C's gigs in Manchester. (Soup Kitchen)
